One of our technicians will walk your yard with you & your pet after installation, teach you how to train your pet to the boundary, and answer any questions you may have before leaving. Phone support for additional training is always available free of charge. But, if you need further onsite assistance, a $150 fee will be assessed to upgrade you to our First Initial Day, Plus Bonus Second Day & Unlimited Onsite Follow-Up Training.

This is the most popular training option available. (It is also built into the standard-price systems we offer.) One of our technicians will walk your yard with you & your pet after installation, teach you how to train your pet to the boundary, and answer any questions you may have before leaving. Your participation is required for this, and any onsite follow-up assistance.
Bonus Second Day with Unlimited Onsite Follow-up: Though every dog’s temperament is different, training your dog to the system takes an average of 5 consecutive days – watching your dog’s interactions with the boundary, and making adjustments to the correction-level as deemed necessary. If you need us to come onsite to walk you through training a second time, we will gladly do so free of charge. From there, you take over training your pet. If you encounter unexpected difficulty, we are willing to come out as many times as necessary, to professionally assist & ensure your pet is successfully trained to the system.
Like the First Initial Day of Training option, phone support is always available free of charge. This option could be considered “training insurance” for all practical purposes. Some customers prefer to have it right out-of-the-gate, others prefer to add it back if they need it. But we usually find that (due to how intuitive the process is) a very small percentage of these customers require a second or third visit.

This is the most comprehensive & expensive training option available. (It is also built into the highest-price systems we offer.) One of our technicians will do allthe training for your pet. We were so fortunate to find Hidden Fence of Minnesota to install our electronic dog containment system. We had... inquired with another well known company, but were left unimpressed. The price was high and they didn’t really guide us when it came to installation options (it was more of a take it or leave it proposition). Honestly, they just relied on their name to sell their product. I did some more searching online and found Hidden Fence of Minnesota. After looking at their website, reading some of their content, and watching some of the videos I was intrigued. I filled out their detailed survey and told them to contact me as soon as the were available. I received a call within a few hours and was thoroughly impressed by how much information they were able to give me. In a matter of hours they were able to use a satellite image of our property to determine the size and to take the information that I filled out in the survey to give us a quote. It was over a 1k cheaper than their competitor AND they were installing it the way we wanted for no extra charge. The next day we asked a few more questions that they were able to answer and then we committed. They were so organized. It was easy to pick a day and time to have it installed and they sent out emails and texts so we knew what was happening at all times. The installer was phenomenal. He walked the property with us as we told him what we were thinking. He guided us and in a matter of minutes he was installing it. After he installed the wire and system in the garage he trained us on how to use it. Next, my three kids and I went through the training with our dogs so we could clearly teach them the boundaries of the system. It was really well done and we all felt empowered. This was our first experience with an electronic dog containment system so we were unsure of how it would work, but it has been amazing. We just followed the training the provided and the dogs are respectful of the boundary. We had them set it up so we have two separate zones. One for the back yard and the other for the front yard. We were used to taking our dogs out back because we used to have a fence, but now we had the freedom to take them to the front. This has made all of us very happy because we can now chill in the front and greet people when they come to our house and the dogs are much more relaxed because they are part of it rather than in the house barking and going crazy. This was very unexpected and we are still in awe at how much change this has made for all of us. Plus, through all of this, we had the ability to reach them at any time for help with the system, advice regarding our dogs and we could have requested that they come out again, but we didn’t have to. They sent out texts and emails guiding us through the process and as a check in process to make sure everything was working. This was one of the best decisions we have made in a long time and a big part of it was because of Hidden Fence of Minnesota. They are honest, experienced, filled with integrity, have phenomenal customer service, friendly, empathetic, and are what we need more of in this world. She is able to run around our yard without being... leashed, which means she can chase after tennis balls and frisbees and have the zoomies anytime she wants. We were considering installing a wireless fence ourselves, but... when we found out HFOM was much more cost effective than the Invisible Fence brand (which seemed to be the only other option that didn't require us doing the work), we decided to go with them. At first our small dog (8 pounds) was scared and stayed in a small area. However both dogs learned the boundaries really quickly and now explore the entire yard. We could have easily gone back to them, but wanted to see what else was out there and we are happy we did. Not only was Hidden Fence very competitive with their pricing, but they also came out and did a free home consultation so we knew exactly what we were looking at. They didn’t require a down-payment and they worked with us on a payment plan that fit into our budget. We found them to be very professional, extremely respectful of our time and they listened to our needs and concerns. They were efficient and friendly throughout the entire process and at no point did we feel pressure to buy. We also liked that it is American made and that they are a family owned business that is centrally located. This was important to us! They did great in their communication, very quick to respond and always stood behind their word. A company of integrity! David did a phenomenal job in explaining the product and making sure we understood the differences of receivers and such. They worked around our schedule and we knew exactly what to expect, at all times, so it was easy for us to plan accordingly. The installer, Michael, did a fantastic job, very professional and was so good and patient with our dogs while they took time to get to know him. What was nice for us is they did this all in one day. They flagged the yard, buried the cable, installed the equipment and had the first training session all the same day. We were very comfortable with our first session and never needed additional training, but if we did they would have come out at no extra cost. Within a week our dogs had a very good sense of their new territory and it was evident they loved their new freedom of being leash free. The team at Hidden Fence have been amazing from the beginning. Bruce has always been very responsive to texts and... emails and was always happy to answer any questions we had. We didn’t think this would keep our stubborn dog from chasing critters, but Bruce took the time to clearly explain the training process and why he thought otherwise. We got our fence installed in 2018, and our dog was fully trained within 2 weeks and to this day will not leave the boundary. When we got another new puppy this past year, the dogs together got a bit more courageous with testing the boundary to the very edge, which was extremely close to the walking path just off of our yard and was a bit intimidating to neighbors passing by. I kept in good communication with Bruce and when we decided to move the boundary closer into the yard, Bruce had someone scheduled to come out that same week! The people at this company are genuine and clearly confident in the product they provide, and will provide the best service until they have a satisfied customer! We would recommend Hidden Fence if you are looking for an invisible fence. We called them late fall and they came out... within a few days to install the temporary wire until the ground thaws out. We had many struggles with rabbits chewing through the wire which every time this happened Bruce and John took care of us ASAP. They went over and above. They finally had to use a heavier wire that the rabbits couldn't chew thru. After that we have been problem free. It will be nice to get the wire buried this spring once the ground is thawed. I would highly recommend Hidden Fence.read more

Our home's previous owners had Invisible Fence wiring in the ground but had taken the receiver and collars with them. Hidden Fence sent someone to review what was already installed on our property and add the receiver, collar, and conduct the training with us. We saved a TON of money (more than $1000) by working with Hidden Fence rather than going back to Invisible Fence, and have been so happy with our results.
